The committee shared a breakdown: security 48 rupees, water tankers 42, lift 18, garden 12. A senior-citizen waiver continues.

The committee compared three bids for security and two for water supply before proposing the increase. Costs of electricity and the elevator contract also went up 8 percent.

Senior citizens on a pension below 20,000 rupees can apply for a waiver by submitting a form to the office.

This is a demo story: every name, place, organisation and figure in it is fictional.
